this is a great sounding crash cymbal. i wanted a glassy sound and not a lot of meat to it. i have a paiste crash that delivers more meat. thusly, i wanted this one to be somewhat "lighter" sounding to complement the other crash. it does that and more. i love this cymbal! bill
