I've never been a fan of DW simply because of the big round lugs. They just didn't appeal to me until the smaller Performance Series lugs where introduced. I now feel foolish for my judgement These drum sound amazing, look amazing, and they weren't too expensive either. A win, win, win in my opinion.
This kit has the great DW sound, no compromise. The drums sound fat and wet and make a big impact. For this price, no question best deal in drums. You can start with a basic kit and add to it as your needs change. Thanks Cymbal Fusion.
