First of all, this hardware is beautiful. My kit has a mixed vintage/modern look to it and these stands really make it look nice. They have an old school look to them, but they don't make my whole drum set old looking. Second, these are very lightweight stands, but they hold both my 18" crash and 20" ride just fine. Just make sure the weight of the cymbal is out over a leg and you're ready to rock. High quality stands!!
