Warranty

DW (Drum Workshop, Inc.) warrants that Collector’s Series drum shells and finishes are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the original date of purchase. Hardware components, including lugs, hoops, throw-offs, and butt plates, are covered for 1 year. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and requires proof of purchase. Warranty service must be processed through an authorized DW dealer, and defective parts will be repaired or replaced with comparable components at DW’s discretion. This warranty does not cover normal wear items such as drumheads, or damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, environmental conditions, modifications, or products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

The DW Collector’s Series SonicPly snare is a first-of-its-kind hybrid design, combining the warm resonance of American Maple with the precise, dry attack of aircraft-grade aluminum. In this 8x14 configuration, the SonicPly shell features 12 plies of Maple with two 1/36" aluminum sheets seamlessly integrated, producing a higher pitch, brighter tone, and shorter sustain than traditional maple shells. The 60° precision-cut bearing edges maximize depth, punch, and tuning range, making it equally at home in the studio or on tour.
