This is the best instrument I have ever owned. Fat yet tight, just incredible to my ears. I have a purpleheart that has a little more crack, but for the tone you get with this guy, it’s perfectly pleasing to my ears. I do lots of of things wrong like using a clear Evans hydraulic clear on the batter… but that’s what I like because I play everything open, all drums. This exact snare should be their flagship.
