Gibraltar 14 inch 8 lug maple wood snare drum snare side hoop with a cutout for the snare wires in a satin polyurethane finish, this is sold as a single hoop. Maple wood hoops give a vintage appeal while adding a fat round sound with a powerful, explosive rimshot and crisp, woody cross stick. The tension rod holes are countersunk into the hoop so the hoop does not require claws. You may need longer tension rods if you are retrofitting them on your drum depending on how much extra threading the existing tension rods have.
