With Gibraltars new Head Protector and optional Port Hole Cutter, Gibraltar now provides drummers with new tools for creating and maintaining a port hole in front bass drum heads. Head Protectors are dual rings that interlock on the bass drum head for durable, long-lasting protection. The Port Hole Cutter is available separately and makes inserting a port hole quick and easy, enhancing the bass drum sound and allowing proper microphone access. Gibraltars new Port Hole System removes the risk and difficulty of installing and protecting a bass drum port hole, said Ken Fredenberg, Director of Product for Gibraltar. Within minutes, players can install and protect a port hole from damage in transport, setup or poor microphone placement.
