Gretsch Catalina Maple 5-Piece Shell Pack – Silver Sparkle

The Gretsch Catalina Maple series delivers classic Gretsch tone, modern playability, and a fresh contemporary aesthetic at a price that suits working drummers and developing players. Built from 7-ply Gretsch Formula Maple with 30-degree bearing edges and natural interiors, these shells produce warm, punchy, articulate sound with unmistakable Gretsch character. For 2025, Catalina Maple receives significant hardware updates that improve tone and reliability. The redesigned low-profile GTS Tom Suspension System allows toms to resonate more freely, providing longer sustain and a more open sound. The bass drum features the round “gas cap” mount plate with a G memory lock for secure and repeatable positioning. The snare includes the new Full Range throw-off and butt plate, offering smoother action and improved control. Additional enhancements include Gretsch T-Wing screws, low-profile brackets, rubber-isolated die-cast claw hooks, and matching lacquered maple bass drum hoops. Every drum comes equipped with Remo UT heads, ensuring great tone straight out of the box.
