Description
The Latin Percussion LP552T-AWC Classic Series "Top-Tuning" Conga 12.5" is a top-tuning conga, with a diameter of 12.5", made from oak wood with a leather head, standing 30" tall, and comes with a natural finish. LP Classic Top Tuning Congas allow you tune from the top without having to turn the conga. Now you can easily make on-the-fly adjustments and it’s easier to tune the head evenly for a reliable fundamental pitch. Its low profile design ensures hand comfort. Made from 30" high Siam oak, this conga has a 3-ply shell with a fiberglass layer added to the inside upper portion of the shell for additional strength. Additional features include a 12.5" natural rawhide head, modified Comfort Curve II Rims, constructed from steel, reinforced LP Heart side plates with 5/16" diameter tuning lugs, and LP ProCare Shell Protectors.
