Description
The Prestige line of timbales features several innovations that allow for better sounds on the instrument with greater ease. The tension rods are now located on the top of the instrument to allow for quick, on-the-fly tuning. Playing on the rims is easier, and cascara sounds on the shell now resonate more with the addition of low-mass side plates. Cascaras are also now easier to play with a revised rib placement area, increasing possible cascara playing zones. The drum clamping screw now stays below the surface of the drums so it doesn't get in the way, and the improved center block holds the drums more securely while additionally containing a holder for a tuning key.
