The LP Tunable Tar Frame Drum is crafted to honor traditional frame drum design while offering modern reliability and convenience. This 14” x 4” model features a lightweight 6-ply Poplar shell with a smooth, rounded thumb slot that provides comfortable grip and control during extended playing sessions. The black-to-natural fade finish adds a refined, understated aesthetic suitable for any performance setting. A durable synthetic head ensures consistent pitch and stability across changing climates, making it ideal for outdoor performances, touring, or studio work. The internal tuning system allows for precise pitch adjustment without interrupting your playing position, and the included tuning key attaches easily to the drum via LP’s Easy-Clip holder. A protective bag is also included for transport and storage. This tar frame drum is well-suited for traditional Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and global percussion styles, while also fitting seamlessly into modern acoustic and hybrid setups.
