Description

This Hive Series kit combines striking transparency with serious performance. Each shell is crafted from 1/4" clear acrylic and CNC-machined on Robot Drum Co.’s proprietary DrumBot system—reducing shell mass, improving resonance, and allowing for incredibly tight tolerances throughout.

All leather components—including inlaid badges and gaskets—are laser-cut in-house from premium Italian leather. The result is a drum kit with an unmistakable modern voice, surgical build quality, and bold aesthetics.

Shell Pack Includes:

  • 10x7.5 & 12x8 rack toms (Pearl R2 Air l-arm suspension mounts)
  • 14x13 & 16x15 floor toms (Inde BR2 leg brackets)
  • 22x16 bass drum (Inde BR2XL mounts + Dunnett spurs)
  • 14x6.5 8-lug snare drum (Trick GS007 throwoff)

Key Features:

  • 1/4" clear acrylic shells from RCI-Starlite, CNC-machined in-house to optimize resonance and reduce shell weight
  • Chrome-plated, machined brass Robot Lug One lugs
  • Laser-cut leather gaskets at each lug and washer, and inlaid leather logos with machined venting on every shell
  • 2.3mm triple-flanged, chrome plated steel hoops on toms and snare
  • Evans heads throughout:
    • Rack/Floor Toms: EC2S batter + EC2 clear resonant
    • Snare: EC Reverse Dot batter + 300 snare side
    • Bass: EMAD 1 batter + G1 clear resonant
  • Pro-grade mounting hardware from Pearl, Inde, and Dunnett

Sound Profile:

Bright, articulate attack with fast decay and clean sustain.
Toms are punchy and controlled, while the bass drum delivers a tight, focused thump.
The snare speaks with clarity and cut, ideal for both studio and live settings.
