And now we’re taking the concept a step further with the PowerPly series; nine mesh heads produced by REMO Inc. ranging from 8” to 22” that let you retrofit your acoustic drums for quiet practice. When used with Roland’s RT-30 Acoustic Drum Triggers, PowerPly mesh heads can trigger a V-Drums module, enabling you to practice and experiment with various sounds while maintaining the looks and feel of your acoustic drum kit.

Their game-changing mesh heads are now available as direct replacements for your existing acoustic shells and V-Drums electronic drum kits. The 2-ply 10-inch PowerPly mesh drumhead is ultra-quiet and remarkably sensitive, giving you whisper-quiet acoustic tone from hybrids and practice kits and excellent tracking, paired with piezos, running into a drum module or virtual instrument. PowerPly heads are quite durable to boot, able to stand up to heavy attacks without tearing or requiring constant tuning.
