The Sennheiser MD 421 Kompakt brings the character of the classic MD 421 family into a smaller, easier-to-place dynamic microphone for drums, guitar cabinets, horns, vocals, podcasting, and studio utility work.

This bundle includes the MZH drum microphone clip, giving drummers and engineers a more secure mounting option when positioning the mic on toms or other close-mic applications. The redesigned mounting system helps the microphone stay locked in place while keeping setup fast and practical on stage or in the studio.

A cardioid pickup pattern, wide 30 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response, and Sennheiser’s internal bass tube design help capture punch, body, and detail while rejecting unwanted sound from the sides and rear.
