    Good series of Sonor drums for the money.

    PLUSES: Nice fat tone and very good quality chrome and hardware. Advertised as both Chinese and N.A. maple. Have NO idea of what species of trees are used in "Chinese maple", but would really be interested in knowing of this is a hard maple (like sugar maple), or rather, a soft maple, like red or silver maple. NEGATIVES: This tom seems to want to be tuned in a higher range than I'd prefer. Lower tunings seem to have pretty nasty harmonics that are difficult to filter out. Perhaps a change of heads would help.

Description
