Great little drum! I purchased this drum to perform New Orleans second line flavored funk grooves and this drum just makes it tasty! I find that the snare throwoff being mounted on the hoop a bit awkward but i get it, the concept is free floating. I really like the single tension idea, making the drum easy to get a good sound out of!
As usual Sonor gives us a fantastic product. As a secondary Snare this is a fantastic sounding drum that is a really great Auxiliary drum. Don't forget to purchase the mount since it's very convenient to mount on a tom stand or Clamp tom holder combo. Thanks to Erik at Cymbal Fusion for answering questions and for getting this to me so quickly even with all of the weather catastrophes facing TX. You have a customer who will return!
