Description
The DW Jazz Series combines modern DW craftsmanship with the warm, expressive tonal character associated with mid-century bebop drums. Designed for versatility, these drums are equally suited to jazz, pop, live performance, and studio recording. The 7-ply hybrid shells feature a 3-ply core of thick gumwood sandwiched between select wood plies. This construction produces a warm, rounded voice with a bright response and medium sustain. DW’s vintage-inspired “butter” bearing edges feature an outer round-over and a 60-degree inner edge, enhancing the shells’ resonance, tonal range, and tuning response.
A striking Broken Glass FinishPly and chrome hardware give this used DW Jazz Series kit a bold appearance worthy of the stage.
