I once heard from a person working in a drum shop that Yamaha drum hardware deserves serious consideration. I'm very pleased that I ordered this Yamaha Hi-hat stand. In a word, it is excellent! Yamaha didn't overlook any feature when they engineered this beauty. It is super sturdy and the pedal action is extremely smooth. It responds to the subtleties of each foot movement.
