    Fantastic Versatile Ride Cymbal!

First off, thanks again to CymbalFusion for another great transaction. You guys are great! This particular cymbal is amazing. I’ll preface this by saying I only buy/play Zildjian cymbals, and I was already a fan of their Sweet Rides, having owned the A version in both 21” and 23”, and the K 21”. So I already had a good idea what type of ride cymbal I was getting with my new 23” K Sweet Ride. Just like the other Sweet Rides, it’s a very versatile cymbal. Very crash-able, with articulate stick action and a well defined bell. But if you don’t like wash in your ride, you’d be better off going with a thicker cymbal; the Sweet Rides are all classified as “medium-thin”. I do prefer the 23” over the 21”, as the stick sound is a bit more pronounced. Being bigger though, means its crash is a little bit louder, with a slightly lower fundamental note. If you want a ride that does it all, the 23” Sweets are the way to go. Both the A and K versions are phenomenal, you can’t go wrong with either one!

    Beautiful And Versatile!

I've already fallen in love with this ride cymbal after one day! Fantastic bell, amazing bow, and an edge that crash rides better than any other Zildjian cymbal I've ever played. I had a 21" version of this same cymbal and it was nice, but this larger version gives so much more in volume and sound that I regret not getting this 23" version in the first place. If you're looking for a bigger, clearer, darker sound, this is the ride or you.

Description

The K Zildjian Sweet Collection extends the iconic K Family into a new direction of tonal colors that are dark, sweet, and responsive. The K Sweet Rides, available in 21'' and 23'', deliver darker overtones than the A Zildjian Sweet Ride, one of the most popular cymbals in the world. The K Sweet Ride is medium thin in weight, is crashable and has a fully lathed appearance. This Ride is your new workhorse, featuring a clear bell and clean stick definition for all genres of music.
